po(ra)roid two:

this is not a photo of a person, of course, haha. this is a place called baluran national park! it's located in east java, a 2-hour-ride from the city of banyuwangi. you know i've never been to indonesian national parks before, but ever since knew ben, he introduced me to lots of new ecological 'stuff' especially since his mom is one of indonesia's prominent landscape architects. it's really cool how his mom designs a lot of national parks in indonesia, and one of them is baluran. this photo actually cannot depict the real beauty of baluran. baluran's savana is amazing, really! everyone should go here especially during the dry season! (if there is one, coughs *climate change* coughs) although many acacia trees are messing up the savana, it is still really really really exceptionally beautiful.
a little africa in indonesia.
God is definitely present in this park.

hi. this is mbak diah. she lives at my house, she helps me do the dishes, do the laundry, you know, all those house chores. she's my house maid but she's really smart! (ps. she reads wikipedia and knows japanese. i know right! she should be in school or something) and it's funny how i call her 'mbak' when she's actually younger than me haha. anyway, the bunny she's holding in the photo is hers! well it was my sister's at first, she bought it during the holiday. but then she got bored with it and went back to singapore. that's why mbak diah decided to take care of the bunny instead (not me of course, because i know it's gonna die fast if i were the one taking care of it, ha!). now the reason why i took a photo of her and her bunny because i really think that she loves her bunny a lot. you can see when someone's in love or not with something, or someone, don't you think? i've done a few pre-wedding photoshoots and seriously, it's a lot easier to take photos of a couple who are really really in love than those that are not!
because sometimes.. you just can't hide your true feelings.
because sometimes, our eyes speak louder than words.

cheers,
rarasekar.

hi,

my name is rarasekar and this is my new blog. in this blog, i'll try my best to capture and share the beauty of the life force, the divinity, the Self, or what some prefer to call as, God, that lies within each and every one of us with my polaroid camera. pure beauty that i think, can only manifest through the hearts, unveiled. the smiles, heartfelt. the laughters, set free. feel free to comment and share other beauties with me. have a great one, everybody!

namaste,

rarasekar.
